This season witnesses a rise in the temperature from March onwards and the summer season lasts until June. But, the weather in Dooars is not too harsh; the temperature ranges between 21 to 31 degrees Celsius.
Monsoon begins in July and lasts till September. In this season, activities like river rafting etc. & sanctuaries remain closed making it the best season to avoid the crowd and unwind amid the lush green forests and the tea gardens.
In this season, rainfall becomes scanty, temperature starts falling from October as winters hit Dooars. The weather remains pleasant and is perhaps the best time to visit the place, especially the wild life sanctuaries.
November and December are a good time to visit Dooars. It is the festive time and the whole area is very lively. The exclusive tourism festival called Teesta Tea and Tourism fest organized during this season can be enjoyed besides the other activities like River Rafting, Paragliding, Jungle safari and other similar activities.
