Nestled in the low-lying mountainous terrains of Dooars, Octavius Heritage is a hidden treasure for travel enthusiasts. Our bungalows that reflect the architecture of the 18th century is a relaxing retreat for families and solo travelers alike. Our sprawling landscape is home to many exotic birds that thrill our guests with their majestic display and melodic sounds. Our suites are aptly named after these friendly visitors who never fail to entertain us.

The Nya Sylee tea estate – is a two hour drive from the Baghdogra airport (about 70-80kms away) and is spread across 775.52 hectares and the area under plantation is 460.70 hectares. In the midst of this plantation is the original Directors’ Heritage Bungalow of the British era. It is a century old well-preserved colonial structure. This bungalow has been a home to generations of planters, and remains the focal point of Octavius hospitality.
It has a sweeping main verandah and a cozy living room equipped with a fireplace and library. The elegant lawn facing dining room also equipped with a fireplace has the perfect ambience for enjoying the awakening breakfasts, sumptuous lunches and the inviting dinners. The Bungalow has three comfortable, spacious yet cozy bedrooms which have been charmingly decorated in the colonial style. Some rooms have single rooms attached to the main suite allowing comfortable accommodation for a third (or fourth) sharing the suite. The bathrooms are very spacious and have walk-in showers. The view of the tea gardens from the bungalow is breathtaking.

Sylee Tea Estate is about one and a half hour drive from Bagdogra airport and is spread across 1033.62 hectares of land out of which 613.74 hectares is under tea plantation. The Directors’ Bungalow is at a stunning location and the view of the tea estate and the mountains from the bungalow is magnificent. . It is a century old well-preserved colonial structure with antique furniture and old Burma teak flooring.
The three well-furnished spacious bedrooms with picture windows and attached modern bathrooms are perfectly done up to maintain the heritage and provide the desired comfort. The Bungalow has a spacious living room with the dining area and a fire place. It also houses a large recreation room. The large verandah in front of the bungalow and the balcony on the first floor are perfect for enjoying the magnificent view all around but the beautiful lawn is perfect to enjoy the nature around.

Room Tariff is applicable for double occupancy
- Maximum occupancy per room: 4 guests (up to 3 adults).
- Additional charges apply for extra guests sharing the room:
- Extra Adult: 2 2,000 per night (includes extra bed)
- Child (ages 3-12): 2 1,200 per night (includes extra bed)
- Guests between 3 to 12 years of age are considered as child.
