The Toucan Suite is in the Sylee Tea Bungalow. All the bedrooms in this bungalow have antique furniture, Burma teak wooden flooring and a great view of the mountain ranges and tea gardens.These charming rooms, built in 1898, are decorated with exquisite colonial taste. There is a main verandah overlooking the lawn, two of the suites have private verandahs, a living and dining rooms and a recreation room. The bathrooms have walk-in showers. We have restored these rooms to their original grandeur so that you can step back into time and live the life of a tea planter from 120 years ago. Combining luxury, comfort, complete privacy and an ambience from the 1898’s, these suites are a vacationer’s dream.
This grand suite is on the upper level of the bungalow and you have to walk up the antique wooden stairs to be there.
Almost 650 square feet in size, these rooms provide ample space and sweeping views of the Himalayas. There is a separate 50 square feet dressing area too.

A small private balcony allows you to step out an enjoy the garden and mountain views.

Windows cover the entire length of the outer wall of the suite, which give you an excellent view of the green carpet of tea bushes.
The spacious bathroom is fitted with modern amenities including a walk-in shower.
